Sofia Richie’s bundle of joy has finally come to this world. On May 20, Richie announced news of the birth of her first child husband, Elliot Grainge, whom she married last April. The couple is blessed with a baby girl and Sofia has also unveiled the name of the newborn. The reality star first announced the news of her pregnancy this January. Needless to say, it’s incredible news for her friends, family and fans. Let’s check out some more facts about the new mommy.
Sofia Richie’s daughter’s name is Eloise Samantha Grainge
On May 29, Richie shared a black and white picture of the feet of the baby and unveiled her name and birth date. She wrote in the post, “Eloise Samantha Grainge 🤍5•20•24 best day of my life🤍.”
Numerous celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber who is also soon to be a mother have congratulated the new mom.
Previously in an interview with Vogue Richie who first announced her pregnancy in January of this year posting a black-and-white photo showcasing her bump revealed why she and her husband kept the news of her pregnancy under wraps.
“I’ve learned more in the past six months than I have in my entire life,” she said.
“Pregnancy is really scary and you want to protect that space,” she noted. “I didn’t realize there are so many milestones you have to hit and so many tests you have to take. For me, it was really important to protect our mental health and our space as a couple.”
She also revealed the gender of the at that time and noted,”She’s growing pretty fast, so [the due date] is a bit up in the air.”
It isn’t surprising since last August Richie told Town & Country that she and Grainge “don’t live out our whole lives on Instagram.”
“The truth is I’ve had a pretty lucky life, and I always try to remember that,” she shared the outlet. “It’s already been more than I could have dreamed of.”
Needless to say Sofia is living her dream life with her dream man as she previously said of her marriage, “Being married is the best. I’m obsessed with Elliot. When we’re together, it’s just calm and quiet.”
Before marrying Elliot, Sofia Richie was previously in a high-profile relationship with Scott Disick.
