The trailer for Stree 2 is finally out now. The sequel of the 2018 fans has been eagerly waiting for this film for a long time. Based on the small town of Chanderi, the previous film showcases the story around the spirit of Street who abducts men by leaving behind their clothes. Eventually after a long dilemma the inhabitants of the town were relieved of the horror. However, their sufferings didn’t seem to end since now the town is all set to face a new monstar Sarkata. Let’s check out the complete details of this story.
Details Revealed From The Trailer of Stree 2
The trailer begins with Pankaj Tripathi’s Rudra Bhaiya awaring the town’s people the new threat, ‘Sarkata’ (headless monster) who is supposed to come after the departure of Stree. As their delimma begins, Shraddha Kapoor’s unnamed character, who presumably was the evil spirit in the prequel of the film, comes back to Chanderi after a long time to protect them from the new monster’s terror. Moreover the people of the town even pray to Stree this time, “O stree raksha karna”, instead of telling her, “O stree kal aana”.
Rudra Bhaiya later noted the monster is known as ‘Sarkata’, a monster devoid of a head who is also the cause for the creation of Stree.
Like the 2018 prequel the second part is also filled with the blend of spine-chilling horror alongwith aceing comedy. The trailer features multiple jokes around the demon such as, at one point, Rudra Bhaiya says Sarkata is an influencer who is trying to increase his followers.
The movie stars it’s previous cast Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, and Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana, in pivotal roles. Moreover, it will also feature Tamannaah Bhatia in a special role although much details haven’t been disclosed yet.
As per the report, Akshay Kumar might also make a special appearance in the movie.
