Faris tells the outlet, “It was an honor and he was just an incredible person. I wish I knew him better. It feels a little audacious for me to speak too much about somebody that I felt like I had brief interactions with, but they were wonderful and I am honored to be a part of the show.”

“I worked mostly with Courteney and Matthew, and they were unbelievable to me. They were so kind,” she continues . “I mean, it was such an intimidating idea. I mean, to give birth on Friends. Friends? The final season?”

Faris also jokes that despite being a great acting opportunity her part in the show didn’t prove financially lucrative.

“They don’t rerun too much of the last season because I think I get a check for 9 cents every, you know, four months,” she quipped.

Matthew Perry tragically passed away at his Los Angeles home on Oct. 28 at the age of 54.

Earlier this month, Perry’s other co-star Lisa Kudrow who plays Phoebe Buffay in the NBC sitcom revealed that she has been re-watching the series in his honor in an interview with Hollywood Reporter.

“Honestly, I wasn’t able to watch it because it’s too embarrassing to watch yourself. But if I make it about Matthew, then that’s OK,” Kudrow said. “And it’s just celebrating how hilarious he was — and that is what I want to remember [about him].”

PreviouslyJennifer Aniston during a conversation with Abbott Elementary’s Quinta Brunson for Variety’s Actors on Actors emotionally recalled an incident with Perry ahead of the show’s 30th anniversary.

“I remember the day that it was going to premiere on television, on NBC, Matthew Perry and I were having lunch somewhere, and we knew Lisa was getting her hair colored. So we ran into the hair salon, and I snuck up — she was in the sink — and I took the nozzle from the guy that was supposed to be doing it and just started washing her hair.” Aniston said. “It definitely flew out of control, and that was unfortunate. But the excitement we had, it feels like yesterday.”
