Talking with the entertainment media the former American actress said of her kids, “Our kids are young. They’re amazing. But all you want to do as parents is protect them.”

Moreover, in the clip of the interview which will air on August 4, Markle also talked about her and her royal husband’s foundation called Archewell Foundation which is built to safeguard children from the dangerous outcomes of social media.

“As we can see what’s happening in the online space,” the 42-year-old continued, “we know that there’s a lot of work to be done there and we’re just happy to be a part of change for good.”

Moreover, Harry who is the youngest son of King Charles and the late Princess Diana added in his wife’s statement, “We’ve got to the point where almost every parent needs to be a first responder. And even the best first responders in the world wouldn’t be able to tell the signs of possible suicide. That is the terrifying piece of this.”

This isn’t the first time the estranged royals opened up about suicide as the Duchess revealed have straggles with suicidal intentions herself.

During their interview with Oprah Winfrey Markle who was pregnant with Lilibet at that time said, “I just didn’t want to be alive anymore. And that was a very clear and real and frightening and constant thought…I thought it would solve everything for everyone.”

She even mentioned the shocking death of her mother-in-law Princess Diana in 1997, “I was ashamed to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry, especially because I know how much loss he’s suffered. But I knew that if I didn’t say it, then I would do it.”

The bombshell interview with Oprah comes months after the couple backed out from their royal duties.
