Things To Know From The Trailer of ‘Yeh Meri Family’ 4
In the official trailer shared by the makers, the new season will take us to the happiness and challenges explored in everyday family like it’s the previous installments.
The trailer shows an ordinary mother Neerja (Juhi) scolding her daughter Ritika (Hetal) for making noodles despite having an already prepared tiffin. Later on, Ritika is shown requesting her parents to keep a pet puppy which her mother objects to.
Produced by TVF, the new season is solely focused on the relationship between two siblings Rishi and Ritika. As the story progresses we can witness some heartwarming, humorous, and joyous moments in the show.
Set in the monsoon of 1995, the Amazon miniTV series gained immense popularity among the viewers because of its relatable storyline which perfectly depicts the ups and downs in the life of a middle-class family.
Actress Juhi Parmar who is reprising her role as Neerja Awasthi, the mother of Rishi and Ritika expressed her excitement for the upcoming venture.
Parmar said in an interview, “Neerja has been loved so much and I feel so grateful that I have had a character that takes us down nostalgia lanes as my debut to OTT. People have loved the simplicity of Neerja and as strict as she is on the outside, there’s a softness to her which every mother and woman in our country can relate to.”
The actress continued, “I’m glad that with Yeh Meri Family we are being able to reconnect with our audience on the simple joys of life that used to exist once upon a time and I’m looking forward to all of us entertaining our audience again with another season full of lots of ups and downs, laughter, emotions and so much more.”
The series features Hetal Gada, Anngad Raaj, Rajesh Kumar, and Juhi Parmar in prime roles.
