King Charles III shared a positive update on his health. The monarch recently paid a visit to the families who were affected by the knife attack in Southport leaving three young children dead. The King was asked about his health during the event and he has good news to share. The update comes months after the news of his diagnosis came out back in February. He is currently undergoing treatment for the disease. However, the king’s stage or type of cancer hasn’t been disclosed yet. Let’s dig into all the details of this story.

King Charles shared he is good

As per Express, the 75-year-old said, “I’m not too bad.” This isn’t the first time the monarch made comment on his health.

Back in May, while talking with a British Army veteran named Aaron Mapplebeck during a visit to the Army Flying Museum, Charles revealed he’d lost his sense of taste for the ongoing chemotherapy treatment. However, he hasn’t disclosed whether this problem will be temporary or not.

Charles’s Museum visit occurred shortly after Charles returned to public-facing duties. On April 30, the monarch first visited London’s University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre along with his wife Queen Camilla.

On April 26, Buckingham Palace revealed that His Majesty is “very grateful to his medical team for their continued care and expertise.”

Apart from Charles, another member of the British Royal family Princesses Catherine aka Kate Middleton has also been diagnosed with an unnamed cancer which she revealed in a video in April.

The statement ended, “Their Majesties remain deeply grateful. for the many kindnesses and good wishes they have received from around the world throughout the joys and challenges of the past year.”

Both of them have been less frequent in their public life. As for the Princess, she was recently seen with her husband Prince William at Wimbledon in July and also made a surprise appearance in a video during the 2024 Paris Olympics congratulating the British medalists.

On the other hand, another prominent royal figure, King Charles’s sister Princess Anne is also seen to be facing some health troubles as in June she was temporarily in the hospital.
