Adele is bidding goodbye to the music world for an uncertain time. After her successful Las Vegas Residency tour the singer has shared her decision of taking a hiatus on stage at her concert in Munich, Germany on Aug. 31 making the fans heartbroken. The “Easy on Me” singer’s declaration was captured on TikTok which is now circulating online. However, the singer hadn’t unveiled the reason behind his decision. Adele said she will miss her fans
The 36-year-old addressed her fans saying, “I’ve really enjoyed performing. It’s been three years now, which is the longest I’ve done and probably the longest I’ll ever do.”
Moreover, the singer who got 10 shows left in her Vegas residency after missing several due to illness, continues saying, “But after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time and I will hold you dear in my heart for that whole length of my break.”
Without revealing too much information about the cause of her hiatus the five time Grammy-winner revealed she will “fantasize” about her time, after adding, “I just need a rest.”
The British singer later on got emotional before making some rare insights about the things she’ll do in her free time.
The mother of one noted, “I have spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now. I want to live my life that I’ve been building, and I will miss you terribly.”
The news came weeks after her engagement with Rich Paul was announced during her concert in Munich.
The “Rolling in the Deep” singer who shares 11-year-old son Angelo with ex-husband Simon Konecki herself confirmed the news of tying the knot with the sports agent at the concert when a fan proposed to her.
The singer told her fans at the August 9 event that she can’t get married as she’s “already getting married” making the news official after years of speculation.
Konecki and Adele first went public with their romance back in 2021. Moreover, she even expressed her desire of expanding her family with her future husband as she told BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs in July 2022, “I definitely would like a couple more kids.”
