Wedding bell rang at Jamie Foxx’s house. The Django Unchained star’s daughter Corinne Foxx Joe Hooten in California on September 21. The news was confirmed by the photos shared by guest actress Garcelle Beauvais, which have since been deleted. The couple first announced their engagement back in 2023 as Corinne shared a photo on her social media showcasing what seemed like a large, emerald-cut diamond ring. Jamie shares Corinne with ex Connie Kline, and along with her, the actor is also dad to his and ex Kristin Grannis’s daughters’ Anelise Bishop, 15. In the September 22 now deleted pictures, the 56-year-old actor was looking cheerful as he walked his beautiful daughter down the aisle.
The picture was shared by Jamie’s ’90s and early aughts series The Jamie Foxx Show co-star Garcelle Beauvais who played the First Lady to his President character in the 2013 movie White House Down.
In the pictures, the proud father is seen dancing with his daughter and also it showcases a special moment of the bride and groom exchanging their vows.
Beauvais captioned the post, “Last night we got to witness & celebrate the love of @corinnefoxx and @joe.hooten. Your love & respect for each other is palpable. Corinne, you looked stunning.”
Talking about the looks, the 30-year-old bride looked like a daydream in an ivory, floral, short sleeve, off-the-shoulder, asymmetrical bridal gown, paired with a classic cathedral-length veil, and pointed pumps along with a gorgeous bouquet of white roses in her hands. As for the groom, he wore a black tux. Like his son-in-law, The Oscar winner also opted for a classy black tuxedo.
Looking back at the newly married couple’s relationship timeline, they met several years ago through a mutual friend when they were students at the University of Southern California. Later they reconnected after graduation.
Joe, who is a producer, first popped the question last year’s December in a surprise post-proposal engagement party which Jaime also attended.
At that time, the actor even penned an emotional note on Instagram to give his blessings to the beautiful couple.
“You are a perfect example of what being in love is,” Jamie wrote.”You care about each other’s life mental and physical… and you have each other’s back.”
