South superstar and legendary actor Kamal Haasan is all set to light up the big screen. The actor recently unveiled his new look which is seemingly from his upcoming movie KH 237 is going viral over the internet. After the back-to-back releases from Kalki 2898 AD and Indian 2 this veteran has a lot on his plate. Apart from this upcoming movie, he is also shooting for his new collaboration with filmmaker Mani Ratnam for the film Thug Life. Needless to say, his journey has been on an unstoppable mode looking at the flood of new projects raising the anticipation of his fans. Haasan’s production company, Raaj Kamal Films International shared the first look on X with a special note for the fans.
In the new photos, the actor was looking dashing as usual, with a new haircut and a long beard.
They captioned the picture, “New journey with a new look! #JourneyBegins”
As the actor didn’t specify anything about the “new journey” fans started to speculate that it might be for his upcoming movie KH 237.
The movie was officially announced back in January of this year. Produced by Hasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International, with this project the actor will mark his 237th film.
Ready for a theatrical release in 2025, at the time of the announcement its powerful teaser promises it to be a full-fledged mass-action entertainer.
This new project is helmed by the stunt master-turned-filmmaker duo Anbariv (Anbumani and Arivumani) which also marked the duo’s directorial debut.
Anbariv is notable for their previous work with Kamal Haasan on the big-budget film Kalki 2898 AD (2024) directed by Nag Ashwin, as well as the superstar’s other project Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram (2022). Hasan is also seen with the stunt master duo in Mani Ratnam’s directorial Thug Life.
The complete cast of the movie is yet to be disclosed.
As for his recent projects, Hasan was seen in India 2 which failed to impress the audience. Therefore, it’ll be an incredible chance for the actor to impress the audience with the upcoming ventures.
