Good news for the Dune fans! The highly-awaited sequel of the franchise named Dune: Prophecy’s trailer is finally out. This series is an incredible special for Indian fans since this venture stars India’s legendary actress Tabu. The makers announced that it will finally start streaming on JioCinema Premium on November 18.

The trailer begins with Emily Watson’s character describing the significance of sisterhood which is an institution to threaten the existence of humankind. As the trailer progresses we can have some spine-chilling moments as the character prepares for a great war.
Tabu playing the role of Sister Francesca incredibly added a gothic and suspicious touch. Even her co-star Watson praised her calling ‘Julia Roberts of India.’
At the panel discussion with fans and media at NYCC she said of the Indian icon, “Tabu is the most astonishingly beautiful actress. She is the Julia Roberts of India.”
Set 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, the narrative revolves around two Harkonnen sisters as they join forces to threaten the future of humankind to form the fabled sect called Bene Gesserit.
Based on writer Frank Herbert’s universe the movie’s official synopsis of the show reads, “10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, DUNE: PROPHECY follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit. DUNE: PROPHECY is inspired by the novel SISTERHOOD OF DUNE, written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.”
