Abhishek Bachchan is back as a vibrant and quirky avatar for renowned director Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming film I Want To Talk’. The makers have recently unveiled the teaser of the upcoming venture increasing the anticipation of fans. Sircar who is known for his path-breaking films like Vicky Donor (2012), Madras Cafe (2013), Piku (2015), October (2018), and Sardar Udham (2021) will mark his first project with the talented actor. Bachchan also shared the teaser from his social media handle as well. Hence without any further ado let’s check what we’ve got from the teaser.

Details of ‘I Want To Talk’ Teaser

The teaser showcases  a glimpse of Bachchan’s character as a man who “lives to talk.” The character has shown embodying positivity in every conversation.

While sharing the teaser the director captioned the teaser with, “We all know that one person who ~loves~ lives to talk. Here’s the story of a man who always looks at the brighter side of life, no matter what life throws at him! Tag that person you know who lives to talk! (sic).”

Moreover, later on in the clip we can also see a bobblehead toy of the actor placed in a car as the background voiceover saying, “I don’t just love to talk, I live to talk. Zinda hone mein aur marne mein mujhe bas yehi ek basic difference dikhta hai. Zinda log bol pate hai, mare hue, bol nahi pate. (The only basic difference I see between being alive and being dead is this: the living can speak, the dead cannot).”

With this movie, Abhishek will mark his debut in Shoojit Sircar’s films. Previously his father the great legend Amitabh Bachchan has also worked with Sircar in his 2015 movie Piku for which Amitabh ji even got a National Award for Best Actor.

Thus, it’ll be interesting to see if Abhishek can create the same magic as his father.

Apart from this movie, Abhishek also has two movies on his plate including Remo D’Souza’s Be Happy and the Housefull franchise’s fifth installment Housefull 3.

Backed by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, I Want To Talk is scheduled for a theatrical release worldwide on November 22, 2024.
