Warning: Suicide & Death has been discussed

Liam Payne, the former One Direction member who left the world at the age of 31 left immense mystery behind his untimely demise. After the Argentine authorities announced the apprehension of three persons, it was confirmed that the decrease didn’t commit suicide. Payne died after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina which caused some fatal injuries leading to his death. On November 7, the authorities shared a press release confirming there was no case of suicide in the death.

Here’s what they’ve said!

Liam Payne was not conscious during the accident

The statement translating from Spanish noted, “Although other medical background information from the victim’s clinical history must still be analyzed, the phenomenon of the lack of defense or self-preservation reflex in the fall, together with other relevant data from his consumption, allow us to conclude that Liam Payne was not fully conscious or was experiencing a state of noticeable decrease or loss of consciousness at the time of the fall.”

Therefore, Payne’s unconscious state made the authorities believe that there was no intention of dying.

“For the prosecution, this situation would also rule out the possibility of a conscious or voluntary act on the part of the victim,” it continued, “since, in the state he was in, he did not know what he was doing nor could he understand it.”

Meanwhile, the Toxicology report claimed that Payne had alcohol, cocaine, and a prescription antidepressant in his system during the tragic incident.

Moreover, the authorities also charged three people in connection to the incident.

“Illicit conduct was discovered,” the statement noted, “from which three people were charged with the crimes of abandonment of a person followed by death, supply, and facilitation of narcotics.”

Among the accusers the “Strip That Down” singer’s close friend Rogelio Nores is also said to be included.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, Nores, an Argentine multimillionaire also made a statement after the accusations.

He said, “I never abandoned Liam, I went to his hotel 3 times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened. There were over 15 people at the hotel lobby chatting and joking with him when I left.”

For now, it’s a matter of time to see how the investigation takes a turn.
