Kate Middleton, aka Catherine the Princess of Wales made a rare public appearance amid her ongoing cancer battle. Kate with her husband Prince William attended the Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall in London on Nov. 9 alongside King Charles III. The ceremony comes two months after she had completed her chemotherapy treatment.
Since opening up about her cancer diagnosis earlier this year the future queen consort made her public appearance quite limited. The Princess’s earlier royal appearance came in June at Trooping the Colour ceremony which she attended alongside the whole royal family.

Kate Middleton stunned in all-black look
The 42-year-old, who shares kids Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, with William, looked chic in a black dress coat with a red poppy pin, symbolizing their support for their Armed Forces and veterans. She completed the look with her mother-in-law the late Princess Diana’s iconic pearl drop earrings and a pearl pendent. and Her husband sported a navy suit with a red poppy pin, as well.
Last month the couple also attended an event to pay respect to the Southport, U.K., community victims. In July three girls were fatally stabbed and 10 were critically injured outside a Taylor Swift-themed dance and yoga event.
According to the BBC, during his visit to Cape Town, South Africa, on Nov. 7, Williams, the eldest son of King Charles and the late Lady Diana Spencer, spoke proudly of his wife’s resilience.
“I’m so proud of my wife, I’m proud of my father, for handling the things that they have done,” he said at the event. “But from a personal family point of view, it’s been, yeah, it’s been brutal.”
The prince whose father the King is also battling cancer said, “It’s probably been the hardest year in my life.”
Recalling the moment as “dreadful” as William noted, “trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult.”
Despite having their ups and downs, the Prince of Wales revealed his wife is on a speedy recovery journey.
“She’s doing really well,” William told Sky News. “She’s been amazing this whole year, and I know she’ll be really keen to see tonight be a success.”
