During Johnny Depp’s US trial against ex-wife Amber Heard, Camille Vasquez, the actor’s lawyer, became an online phenomenon. Camille and Johnny Depp were romantically connected amid the internet’s obsession with the lawyer. Sexist claims that Camille is seeing someone else have been debunked by Camille, who has now spoken about them.
According to Camille, it is unethical for a lawyer to date one of their clients. In response to the rumors, she voiced her displeasure and remarked, “I suppose it’s just part of being a lady who is just doing her job. “It is upsetting that some media sources sort of ran with or suggested that I had improper or unprofessional contacts with Johnny, a buddy I have known and represented for four-and-a-half years,” I said on my Facebook page.”
Furthermore, the lawyer added that she is “quite pleased in my relationship” and has a partner. Amber Heard said, “It’s also a morally questionable allegation and a sexist statement. It’s a shame and a disappointment, but it’s something you have to deal with sometimes. I’m not sure I’d call it a shock.”
Camille said it was challenging to see Johnny’s battle for his life. It hurt my heart to watch him having to sit there all the time, hearing these terrible claims against him,” she stated.
If I could bring any consolation to him, whether it was holding his hand or letting him know that we were there and that we would fight for him because he deserved it, of course, I would do so.”

For those who don’t know, Johnny sued Amber for $50 million in Virginia, saying she defamed him by writing in an op-ed for the Washington Post in 2018 that she was a victim of domestic violence. He was granted $10.35 million in damages after winning the lawsuit. Amber had sued him for defamation, and the court found him guilty on one count and sentenced him to pay $2 million.
