Pop singer Doja Cat called out ‘Stranger Things’ actor Noah Schnapp for sharing her DMs asking about Joseph Quinn. Joseph Quinn is Schnapp’s co-star on ‘Stranger Things’. He plays the role of Eddie Munson while Schnapp plays Will Byers. In a now-deleted TikTok, Noah shared screenshots of a private conversation between him and Doja. In the messages, Doja Cat wrote, “Noah can u tell Joseph to hmu [hit me up]. wait no. does he have a gf (girlfriend)?” Noah further told the singer to slide into Quinn’s DMs but she said that she could not find his account.
After Schnapp’s TikTok went viral, Doja wasn’t too happy about it. Later, on a TikTok live, the rapper said, “To be fair this is like a kid. But like, when you’re that young you make mistakes, you do dumb s**t. I’m just trying to be super fair. You do dumb s**t, you say dumb s**t, you f**king f**k up relationships with people, you make mistakes. You’re supposed to so that you know not to do it in the future.”
In a live video, Doja Cat said that this is “super embarrassing”.
She further criticized him by saying, “But the fact that Noah did that, like went and posted a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably like socially unaware and wack. I mean that’s like borderline snake s**t, like that’s like weasel s**t. But like, I didn’t see him that way.” Doja Cat further went on to say that this is “very degrading” and “super embarrassing”.
Several Twitter users criticized Doja and said that she took the TikTok video way too seriously. They were also upset at her for calling Schnapp a snake. Both the ‘Stranger Things’ stars, Quinn and Schnapp, have not yet commented on the above exchange.
