American rapper A$AP Rocky was allegedly charged with assault with a firearm. As per the sources, the reason behind the incident was disagreement with his friend A$AP Relli at a party in Los Angeles on November,6 of last year. He would end up with nine years of imprisonment if found guilty of the offence. Before this, he was also arrested in April over this incident. However, he wasn’t charged until today. Attorney George Gascón, Lawyer of Relli, announced the charges today. The 33-year-old has been charged with two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm.
Details about the incident
According to the statements of the Los Angeles Police Department a series of arguments took place between A$AP Rocky and his close acquaintance (A$AP Relli) at Selma Avenue and Argyle Avenue, in the Hollywood Areolas which lead to violence. Although the victim didn’t get any fatal injury but sustained a minor injury from the incident. Later on, he was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
Relli’s Lawyer claimed that Rocky produced multiple shots at his client without any warning. According to him, this incident can lead to many fatal consequences. In the official statement, he stated, “Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offence that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood.”
Further, he added, “My office conducted a thorough review of the evidence in this case and determined that the addition of a special firearm allegation was warranted.”
Relli recently came out as the victim and wanted to sue Rocky. Moreover, according to his statement, Rocky fired the gun twice during the incident.

A$AP Rocky might sentence to nine years imprisonment
If the victim’s charges prove right Rocky has to face nine years imprisonment. For now, Los Angeles Police is investigating this case.
Last year he confirmed his relationship with Rihanna. Later on, the couple welcomed a baby boy together this year.
