Snoop Dogg is back in acting, his recent Netflix film ‘Day shift ‘ is finally out. The film was released on 12 August on Netflix. The 50-year-old rapper-actor recently shared some of his acting gigs from the film on his official Instagram account ( https://www.instagram.com/reel/ChShV5wpp2x/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= ). However, the film gets mixed reviews from critics. Snoop Dogg starred alongside prominent actors like Jamie Foxx. Previously his collaboration with Benny Blanco and BTS was just released and even ranked number ten on Billboard Hot one hundred. This film is his second released film this year. Needless to say, his fans are very delighted to get back-to-back releases from him.
Snoop Dogg’s role in ‘Day Shift’
Snoop Dogg played the role of Big John Elliott who is the friend and fellow Union member of the protagonist, Bud Jablonski (Jamie Foxx). Bud works as a vampire hunter and often gets help from Elliott in his missions. Moreover, this Netflix film seems like a power-packed horror comedy.
On 15th August, Snoop Dogg shared a clip of his acting from the film. He captioned the post, “The name’s Big John. We out now #DayShift on @netflix”. Meanwhile, in this clip, we can see some of his scenes with Jamie Fox. In the opening scene, he was saying,” just like old times, that’s what I love about LA, all the damn vampires”. Further in the clip in a scene with Fox, his partnership with the protagonists shows as he said, ” Welcome to the fu***g union brother”. Later on, we also saw some action scenes featuring the rapper-actor. The clip ended with Snoop’s dialogue “West side for life”.

Meanwhile, Snoop also impressed his fans with his powerful rap on the song ‘Bad Decision’, his first collaboration with Benny Blanco and BTS. So, It will be interesting to see his acting talent.
