American supermodel Bella Hadid claimed to lost several modelling jobs and friends because of her support for Palestine. On a recent podcast by Libyan-American journalist Noor Tagouri the model opened up a lot about this issue. Her father Mohamed Hadid is a Palestinian businessman who was born in Nazareth and immigrated to the United States. Previously the model via her shared posts on Instagram support Palestinian. Moreover, she also criticises Israel and calls them a group of Colonisers’.
Hadid’s anti-Israel commands
In her prior Instagram posts(https://www.instagram.com/tv/CdhLd_sjt_P/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= ), the supermodel openly criticised Israel during military operations in the West Bank or the Gaza Strip. On 2021 during the war on Gaza, she said Israel perpetrated ethnic cleansing against Palestinians. She also described them as a group of colonisers. Later on, she also participated in the pro-Palestinian on May 2021.
Moreover, Bella and her sister Gigi claimed that Palestinians undergo the same circumstances as Ukraine as war victims. Apart from that the Hadid sisters also said to donate their salaries to support Ukrainians affected by the Russian attack.
However, last May Hadid was slammed by Israeli model Bar Refaeli on Instagram for her lack of reaction during recent terrorist attacks. The Israeli model tagged Hadid in her tribute post for the victims of the attack and said “Are you going to repost?”

In the recent interview in the podcast of Libyan-American journalist Noor Tagouri, the 25-year-old reveals a lot about this situation. The model previously slammed Israel into the conflict between the Jewish state and Palestine. In the interview, she admitted,” There have been so many brands that have stopped working with me.” Later on, she also confessed a lot of her friends turned back on her as she said,
‘I had friends that completely dropped me, like even friends that I had been having dinner with on Friday nights, for seven years, now just won’t let me into their house.’
