Aquaman star Jason Momoa shocked everybody with his new look. The 43-year-old actor is famous for his long hair look. On September 5, the actor shared a video where he was seen trimming all of his long hair. However, the reason behind the act is very close to Momoa’s heart. Let’s check out the cause!
Why does Jason Momoa shave his hair?
It isn’t the first Momoa did something like this, he previously chopped off his signature beard. On Sep 5, via an Instagram post (https://www.instagram.com/reel/CiJQH3UM839/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= ), he shared a video of himself chopping off the hair. While chopping off his hair, Momoa shared a message with his fans, urging his fans to eliminate the use of plastic.
He said, “I’m tired of these plastic bottles. We gotta stop,” the star continued. “Plastic forks, all that s–t. It just goes into our land. It goes into our ocean. I’m here in Hawaii right now and just seeing things in our ocean, it’s just so sad. So please, anything you can do to eliminate single-use plastic in your life, help me…Plastic bottles are ridiculous. Bring your canteen or now everyone is making the aluminium, which is fantastic. So, aloha. We’re going to keep going.”
Apart from this the Game of Thrones actor also announced his new company Mananalu. It will sell drinking water in an aluminium bottle. This will be a step toward the prevention of Plastic pollution.
He captioned the post by saying, “Here’s to new beginnings let’s spread the aloha, be better at protecting our land and oceans. We need to cut single-use plastics out of our lives and out of our seas. Plastic bottles, plastic bags, packaging, utensils, all of it. Let’s aloha our ‘āina together aloha j. @mananalu.water.”
The actor gained a lot of recognition for the lead role in the Aquaman franchise. Needless to say, his Nobel action impresses everyone.
