Rihanna is all set to be the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show performer. On September 25, she confirmed the news via her Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/p/Ci8KpteuaJU/igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=).The 34-year-old singer recently welcomed her baby boy.It will be her first performance after becoming a mother. Apart from that, NFL sources also confirmed her performance to TMZ.

NFL confirmed the by posting the same photo as Riri via twitter. The post caption,”Let’s GO – @rihanna @rocnation #SBLVII @AppleMusic @NFLonFOX.” Rihanna’s record lebel,Roc Nation, also shared the same post.
In a statement provided by Roc Nation, founder Jay-Z said,” Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn. A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment.”
Some sources previously said that there have been multiple discussions between the NFL and Roc Nation to have the singer headline the show.
The Super Bowl 2023 is organised on February 12 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
Prior to this, three years before Riri said in an interview with Vogue that she refused to be part of the event. The ‘Umbrella’ singer said,”I couldn’t dare do that,For what? Who gains from that? Not my people. I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler. There’s things within that organisation that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way.”
Many prominent artists congratulate the new mommy for being part of this magnificent event. Justin Bieber commented,”The Queen is back” while Katy Perry commented,” Hell yeah”.
Needless to say, Riri fans can’t wait to see her as usual jaw dropping performance at the event! Well for now thery have to wait a little.
