American rapper Coolio passed away at the age of 59 in Los Angeles. He is famously known for his hit single “Gangsta’s Paradise.” On 28th September, Coolio’s manager Jarez Posey confirmed the news to NBC news. Moreover, his fans and friends all over the world are mourning his death. Needless to say, it’s a dark time for the music industry.
How did Coolio die?
Rapper Coolio, originally born Artis Leon Ivey Jr, was discovered unresponsive on a bathroom floor of his friend’s house. Later first responders pronounced him dead. Moreover, the police didn’t think of his death as foul play. Coolio’s manager Jarez Posey announced his death to NBC News,” As far as what I know now is that he was at a friend’s house and was in his bathroom”. He said the cause of his death was a ‘heart attack’.
According to Posey, he didn’t respond to his friend’s call. The Los Angeles Police Department told E-news that around 4 pm a 60-year-old man called them. However, the man’s identity isn’t revealed. The police also denied foul play in the death.
The Grammy winner was born in Monessen, Pennsylvania, United States. But later moved to Compton, Calif, where he would begin to start like music.
