Ariana Grande spotted on the set of the film Wicked along with her husband Dalton Gomez. The ‘7 rings’ singer casted as Glinda last November. Moreover, the film is an adaptation of the book Glinda the Good Witch. The film will be a musical. It’s gonna be a long time after the singer grabs an acting role. Needless to say, her fans can’t wait to see her on the big screen after a long time!
Ariana Grande opened up about the audition process this year
In November 2021, sources confirmed that Grande stepped into the shoes of Glinda. Apart from her, actress Cynthia Erivo casted in the role of Elphaba. On November 4th, Ariana shared this exciting news with her fans with a photo of her Zoom call with her co-star and director Erivo on Instagram captioning, “Thank goodness.”
In a makeup tutorial video she shared her audition process. “I started hearing murmurs about a Wicked audition coming soon, so I went into full preparation mode, while I was also shooting The Voice.So, I was shooting and then doing lessons every day because I just wanted to be prepared for when the call came. I had no idea when it was coming, but I was just like, ‘I want to be ready to go in.” -the Grammy winner said.
The 29-year-old even posted a photo of the flowers Erivo sent her, captioning,”Pink goes good with green. Congratulations Miss A, the part was made for you, I look forward to sharing this musical journey with you.”
On the set of the movie she spotted alongside husband Dalton Gomez. They were setting couple goals with matching pink face marks and brown outfits.
We can assume Ari’s new acting role definitely blew up our minds.
