Landon Barker, the son of Travis Barker and his former wife Shanna Moakler, opens up about his relationship with his father. Barker revealed a lot of facts about their strong bond in a recent interview with the E-news. Travis and Shanna got divorced in 2008 when Landon was only 5 years old. However, most divorced kids of his age seem to be distant from their parents but it isn’t the case for him. Travis got married to Kourtney Kardashian in April of this year. Travis also has a daughter with his ex-wife named Alabama Barker,17.
Landon Barker said his father is always in my corner
Landon,19, revealed during a recent interview with E-news that his father is “always in my corner”. He also said, “He’s always there for me as I am for him.”
On October 16, at The Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, the Blink-182 drummer performed an unreleased collaboration with his son. However, for him it means, even more, to see his dad enter the new chapter of his career.
“I guess the best way to say it is he’s making s–t happen and doing things that he genuinely enjoys. If that’s putting Blink back together, if that’s being in the studio, whatever it is, I feel like he’s prioritizing what he wants and people are impressed by it and people enjoy it.”- the young aspiring musician said.
Furthermore, he added, “I feel like he’s really just doing what makes him happy.”
Talking about his amazing fashion sense which we can see on his Instagram he said they are just him.
He said, “I just wear what I like and whatever I see that speaks to me, I’ll wear it. Some things will and some things don’t. I feel like it’s just me being myself. I feel like that’s really how I developed my style.”
