Singer Justin Bieber isn’t happy with the famous fashion brand H&M. On December 19, the singer shared on his official Instagram how the brand launched his merchandise without his permission. The singer seemed quite upset about this incident. Biber even requested his fans to not purchase these goods.
Justin Bieber said the H&M March make him trash
On December 19, the ‘peaches’ singer posted an Instagram story about this incident. The 28-year-old alleged the brand of using his likeness on some of their products without his consent. He seems really disappointed by their action.
“I didn’t approve [sic] any of the merch collections that they put up at H&M. all without my permission and approval SMH.”- he wrote.
Later on, the ‘Let Me Love You’ singer also urged his fans to not buy these products.
He added, “I wouldn’t buy it if I were you. The H&M merch they made of me is trash and I didn’t approve it don’t buy it.”
He also said, “When everyone finds out I didn’t approve any of this merch smh.”
The brand has recently released several pieces featuring the singer. It includes a tote bag, a shirt, and a sweatshirt. The sweatshirt has the singer’s famous song ‘Ghost’s lyrics “I miss you more than life.”
H&M responds to Biber’s comment
The brand has responded to Justin’s allegation in a recent interview. “As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M followed proper approval procedures.”- the brand said.
The brand seems to have no stranger to selling its merchandise throughout the years. They sold a Purpose Tour collection in 2016. Moreover, they also launched a Justin Bieber Stadium Tour line. The singer also promoted it on a tour.
