Singer John Mayer opens up about his love life in his recent appearance on the famous podcast Call Her Daddy. On December 20 while featuring on the show he talked about the misconception about his Casanova persona. The singer had a candid interaction with host Alex Cooper.
John Mayer can’t wait to get married
On December 20, the 45-year-old talked about the misconception about his Casanova persona. The ‘Gravity’ singer is previously linked with several women including Taylor Swift, Jenifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, and Katy Perry. However, in spite of several relationships, he wanted a “deep, meaningful, and secure” relationship like marriage.
As host, Alex Cooper asked him if he has any commitment issues he unhesitantly replied, “Nope!”. And said, “Of course, I want to get married.”
Moreover, he explained, “Nothing’s hotter to be than conflict resolution, I am horny for conflict resolution.”
He also can’t wait to fall out about the dry-cleaning with his future wife.
He also talked about being far away from dating in recent years. “Dating is no longer a codified activity for me. I don’t really date. I don’t think that I have to, to be quite honest. I quit drinking like six years ago, so I don’t have the liquid courage. I just have dry courage.”- Mayer explained.
Mayer also shared that he is currently single. However, when the host asked him about what he would like to have in his future relationship, He replied, “Every relationship I’ve ever been in was devoted to the idea that this could go the distance. My entire life, today included, if you told me that I could have a great two months with someone but it would end on the first day of the third month, I would not be interested. I’ve always sought potential for a long-term relationship.”
