Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell are all set for the holiday. On his Armchair Expert podcast, Shepard teased his wife for a Grinch-inspired Christmas tree. The Hot And Run alum also gives an insight into his home decoration. The Grinch stole the show on Christmas. Needless to say, Kristen grabbed a lot with this tree. The couple’s decorations stole the hearts of their fans.
Dax Shepard jokingly said wife Kristen is a genius
The 47-year-old actor on his podcast Armchair Expert shared a glimpse of his home’s holiday decoration. However, the thing which stole the show is his wife Kristen’s Grinch-inspired Christmas tree. On December 12, The Parenthood alum joked about his wife’s creativity in a video on Instagram.”You may have heard on the Fact Check about the Christmas tree that scared the s–t out of me.”-He said.
“I thought it had destroyed Newtonian physics as I knew it.”- Shepard added.
Talking about the show stopper, the tree has colorful lights, a label says “Who-Ville”. Moreover, it also features a life-size statue of the Grinch’s body peering into the tree and his hand popping out from the other side.
Later on, he added, “That’s the Grinch, Look, his hands even popping out. The thing that was quite disturbing was the droopy, The droop.”
Although it seems like he is freaked out by this creation, he didn’t lose a chance to be a good husband. Dax praised his wife for her extreme creativity.
“Hope that satiates everyone, Kristen Bell, you’re a f—ing genius.”- He said.
In the caption of the post he wrote, “Some people are playing on Xmas. Not @kristenanniebell. She’s here to kick a– and drink beer, and unfortunately for her Christmas competitors, she appears to be all out of beer.”
Needless to say, the couple is going to have a great holiday. As they have been spending it since 2013. The couple is also proud parents of daughters Lincoln, 9, and Delta, 7.
