Prince Harry is opening up about the chances of reconciliation with the royal family. The royal has recently become talk of the town for dropping back to back bombshell about his family and personal life. He has recently unveiled a lot of facts in his upcoming memoir Spare. On January r 8, during an interview with journalist Tom Bradby for U.K. station ITV he revealed this fact.
Prince Harry said there is 100 percent chances of his reconciliation with his family
On January 8, Prince Harry sat down for an interview with journalist Tom Bradby for U.K. station ITV. The host said to him that he has destroyed the chances to make up with his loved ones in England due the publication of his new tell-all memoir, Spare. The 38-year old disapproved of his opinion as he believed this was a “100 percent” chance. Although, his family has “shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile up until this point.”
The Duke of Sussex then added,”I’m not sure how honesty is burning bridges. You know, silence only allows the abuser to abuse. Right? So I don’t know how staying silent is ever gonna make things better.”
He continues, “Though I would like to have reconciliation, I would like accountability. I’ve managed to make peace over this time with a lot of things that have happened. But that doesn’t mean that I’m just gonna let it go.”
Later on, the Duke also added, “Forgiveness is 100 percent a possibility because I would like to get my father back. I would like to have my brother back. At the moment, I don’t recognize them, as much as they probably don’t recognize me.”
Moreover, the prince also expressed his love for his family. He said, “I love my father. I love my brother. I love my family. I…will always do. Nothing of what I’ve done in this book or otherwise has ever been [with] any intention to harm them or hurt them.”
The host Bradby when questioning Harry that he is invading the family’s privacy with his memoir. He replied”That’ll be the accusation from the people that don’t understand, or don’t want to believe that my family have been briefing the press solidly for well over a decade.”
