Lisa Marie Presley left the world on January 12 just at the age of 54. The singer was the only child of the late Elvis Presley. On January 22, her memorial service was organized at Graceland. Lisa Marie’s mom Priscilla and her twin 14-year-old daughters Harper Lockwood and Finley Lockwood pay tribute to her. However, her daughter Riley Keough is not present at the event. However, her husband Ben Smith-Petersen was present on her behalf.
Priscilla Presley read a poem to pay tribute to her daughter Lisa Marie
Priscilla along with her daughters and friend and family was present at the memorial service of Lisa Maire at Graceland where Evils Presley had a home. Priscilla said,”I have no idea how to put my mother into words.
Truth is, there are too many. Lisa Marie Presley was an icon, a role model, a superhero to many people all over the world. But Mama was my icon, my role model, my superhero, in much more ways than one. Even now, I can’t get across everything there is to be understood or known about her, but as she always said, ‘I’ll do my best.'”
Moreover, she read a poem titled, “The Old Soul”. Before finishing her speech she said,”Our heart is broken. Lisa, we all love you.”
Later on, Lisa Maire’s daughter Riley’s husband, Ben Smith-Petersen read a heartbreaking letter penned by his wife. He read on her behalf, “I remember the way you would cuddle me. I remember you singing me and brother lullabies at night and how you’d lay with us until we fell asleep.”
The speech added, “My sisters and brother are a product of your heart. I hope you finally know how loved you were here.”
Lisa Shared daughter Riley Keough, 33, and late son Benjamin Keough with ex Danny Keough and 14-year-old twins Harper Lockwood and Finley Lockwood with her ex Michael Lockwood.
She was laid to rest beside her late father and son.
