Harry Styles Made a Shout out for One Direction Bandmates During Win at 2023 BRIT Awards. The Grammy winner won Album of the Year. The singer-actor was part of this popular English band from 2010 to 2016. He thanked his bandmates Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik for playing an important role in his success. Apart from this award the ‘As it was’ singer got multiple wins in the 2023 Grammy awards.
Harry styles tanked his bandmate in the acceptance speech
The 29-year-old thanked his bandmates in an acceptance speech while receiving the Album of the Year. He said, “I want to thank my mum for signing me up for X Factor without telling me, so, I literally wouldn’t be here without you. I want to thank Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn because I wouldn’t be here without you either. Thank you so much.”
Before this win, the ‘Watermelon sugar’ singer also won the ‘Album of the year’ and ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ at the 65th Grammy awards for his 2022 album Harry’s House.
Style’s fellow bandmate Liam Payne also congratulated the singer for his major win via an Instagram post. He penned a note along with his picture, “Wow… this image is really something to wake up to and when you write music like you do Harry you deserve every millisecond of that moment looking down smiling at the trophy you’ve earned. God bless you brother congratulations,”
On top of that, his other bandmate Niall Horan also congratulated the singer in an Insta story with a picture from the event along with writing “Very proud @harrystyles.”
Previously, Harry also shared his excitement for his big win. He said, “I definitely wasn’t expecting to get this. I think being nominated for stuff like this kinda really feels like the winning part, being recognized by your peers and stuff. It’s obviously incredibly nice to receive this. I don’t think it’s the reason any of us in the room do it. I’m so, so grateful that they thought our album was worthy of it. And I think more than anything, it just kinda feels like validation that you’re on the right path.”
