Chris Rock shared his true feeling about Will Smith’s Oscars Slap during Netflix Comedy Special. The actor hit Rock at the 2022 Oscars when he joked about Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. On March 4th, during Netflix’s live-streamed comedy special Chris Rock: Selective Outrage he addresses the moment.
Chris Rock commented on the “entanglement” Jada had with August Alsina while being separated from Smith
Apart from commenting on the slap the comedian also talked about the “entanglement” Jada had with August Alsina while being separated from Smith. Moreover, he revealed in 2016 Jada boycotted the Oscars he hosted due to the partialities of the nominees.
Rack said, “She f–king said [I] should quit because Will didn’t get nominated for Concussion. What the f–k?I did some jokes about her. Who gives a f–k? That’s how it is. She starts it, I finish it. That’s what the f–k happened. Nobody’s pickin’ on this bitch. She started this s–t. Nobody was pickin’ on her.”
Therefore, the comedian also shared the reason for not hitting the actor back. “A lot of people like, ‘How come you didn’t do nothing back that night? Cause I got parents. Cause I was raised. You know what my parents taught me? Don’t fight in front of white people.”- he said.
Talking about Jada’s affair with August Alsina he said, “Will Smith practices selective outrage. Everybody know what the f–k happened. Everybody that really knows knows I had nothing to do with that s–t. I didn’t have any entanglements. His wife was f–king her son’s friend.”
Rock revealed he offered Smith condolences
He shares, “I have no idea why two talented people would do something that low down. We all been cheated on. None of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television. Why the f–k would you do that s–t? She hurt him way more than he hurt me, okay?”
Later on, he revealed he tried to give his condolences to Smith but he didn’t respond to him. He said, “Everybody in the world called him a bitch. I tried to call the mother–ker and give him my condolences he didn’t pick up for me. Everybody called that man a bitch. They called his wife a predator. And who’s he hit? Me, a n—- he knows he can beat. That is some bitch-a– s–t.”
The couple hasn’t publically clarified anything yet.
