Selena Gomez is turning on some old pages of life. The “Wolf” sing get a new life six years ago when her best friend Francia Raísa voluntarily donated a kidney. She was Lupus and needed an immediate transplant. On the March 10th episode of Apple TV+’s Dear… Gomez opened up about this moment. However, although the friends have gone through a lot of drama Selena still seems to be grateful to Raísa for saving her life.

On the March 10th episode of Apple TV+’s Dear… the 30-year-old said, “I will never ever, ever be more in debt to a person than Francia. The idea of someone not even second-guessing to be a donor was unbelievably overwhelming.”
Later on, the singer-actress said Raísa agreed to help her and get tested. Therefore, within three days the result came out and they were a match.
“It was one of those moments where I felt watched over,” Gomez Shared. “I know I was so, so, so lucky. I understand that that doesn’t happen for a lot of people and I know the outcome of some of those situations and how serious they are, so I do not take it lightly that it’s happened to me that way.”
However, things aren’t on the smooth page for this two currently. On November 2022, The Only Murders in the Building alum said Taylor Swift is her “only friend” in the industry, After that, Francia commented “interesting on the post and even unfollowed her on Instagram.
Moreover, Gomez commented on a TikTok, “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know.”
Needless to say, after all this drama she is still grateful to her life-saver. As she said on the show, “I think it had to happen the way that it did in order for me to get to where I am. I was meant to go through it to do something for others.”
