Emily Blunt is taking a break from the glamor world, the Oppenheimer actor revealed in a recent promotional interview of the film with her co-star come neighbor Matt Damon.
Emily shared her love for Neighbor & Co-star Matt Damon & claimed their working experience as a ‘ Summer Camp’
In a recent episode of iHeart Podcasts Table for Two With Bruce Bozzi, the British actress shared that she’s taking a hiatus from acting to focus on her career as a mother. The 40 year old has two daughters with husband John Krasinski, 9-year-old Hazel, and 5-year-old Violet.
The Devil Wears Prada star said, “This year, I’m not working. I worked quite a bit last year and my oldest baby is nine, so we’re in the last year of single digits,” later explained, providing the cause of this action. “And I just feel [like] there are cornerstones to their day that are so important when they’re little. And it’s, ‘Will you wake me up? Will you take me to school? Will you pick me up? Will you put me to bed?’ And I just need to be there for all of them for a good stretch. And I just felt that in my bones.”
Blunt claimed in that note to be kept in touch with her co-star Matt Damon who lives near the same place with wife Luciana, and their two kids in Brooklyn, New York.
The Quiet Place star also explained her relationship with Oppenheimer Co-star, “Matt is just the most easygoing, beautiful person. Lucy is even more beautiful – sorry, Matt. But we all became friends and then they moved to Brooklyn and they said, ‘We found this amazing building.’ And of course, we were like, ‘We’ll live in the same building!’ But there’s really lovely, cool people living in Brooklyn and we have Sunday night dinners…the kids love each other.”
Blunt also revealed her working experience on the sets Oppenheimer with the A-list star by quoting it like a ” Summer Camp” which can give the depth of their friendship.
Oppenheimer directed by Christopher Nolan starring Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon and Robert Downey Junior are set to be released on Friday 21 July.
