Sam Asghari is speaking up after filing for divorce from Britney Spears. The Family Business actor and Grammy winner ended their marriage after 14 years of marriage. On August 16, a source confirmed the news to NBC News that the couple has parted ways. Moreover, as per the documents of the actor “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Sam Asghari asked for everyone including the media to be kind and thoughtful
The 29-year-old wrote, “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always.”
Moreover, he added, “S–t happens. Asking for privacy seems ridiculous [sic] so I will just ask for everyone including the media to be kind and thoughtful.”
Meanwhile, a source said at the time of their split. “Britney and Sam have split. She’s adamant she didn’t cheat. The two haven’t got along for a while and it finally came to an end after a major blowup.”
The source said of the singer, “She has been denying any cheating allegations and going through a lot of emotions. She is hurt because the situation brings up old feelings for her. This is the last thing she needed, especially after her boys moved to Hawaii, being worried about the fires there, and so on.”
“She has been trying to get back on her feet and be healthy emotionally, physically, and mentally. Britney has people by her side and her immediate circle is there for her. They are rallying around her.”the source added.
