In a recent YouTube video, the rapper revealed a few facts about his girlfriend’s motherhood. Moreover, he also shared how they keep Halle’s entire pregnancy highly private. DDG said he and Halle are doing great as new parents
DDG whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. shared in the YouTube video, “Me and Halle had a baby together. I wouldn’t chose no other person in the world to have a child with. We learning. She’s a great mom. It’s crazy. She’s amazing,”
The 26-year-old also quipped that fans should become “detectives” with the speculation that surrounded his girlfriend’s private pregnancy and later complemented the new mother.
“She’s a professional mom,” the rapper continued. “And we’re doing great.”
DDG and Halle have been seeing each other since 2022. Despite facing numerous ups and downs the couple grew stronger than ever. However, Halle’s pregnancy speculations were highly on fire and they tried their best to protect her privacy.
On January 7, the couple announced the arrival of their son via Instagram. The Disney alum posted a snap of the hands of the newborn along with the caption, “The greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son. Welcome to the world my halo. The world is desperate to know you.”
Many celebrities congratulated the couple in the comment section. Nickie Minaj wrote, “Welcome to the earth Halo, We’ve been expecting you. congrats mama!”
Khloe Kardashian wrote, “ Congratulations mommy!!!! Welcome to the world sweet Halo! What a blessing!! This is when life gets even better.” Khloe’s sister Kylie also congratulated the young mother with multiple-angle emojis.
The Color Purple actress’s elder sister Chloe and the father himself also dropped a sweet comment. “auntie’s baby” Chloe wrote while DDG praised his lady love writing, “Super mom.”
Although DDG gave a shout out to their baby boy in his recent track “Darryl Freestyle,” the young parents are unlikely to show their baby’s anytime soon.
As the rapper added, “I don’t plan on showing his face and she don’t plan on showing his face. It’s just too priceless.”
