Parker Posey is keeping her silence on her role in the upcoming anticipated season of White Lotus. The actress who attended the premiere of Mr. & Mrs. Smith at New York City on Wednesday shared her reaction to her White Lotus role to Entertainment Tonight. Let’s check why she has decided to keep her mouth shut.
Parker Posey revealed she has signed an NDA
The 55-year-old told the media house, “I can’t tell you anything. I signed an NDA. I can’t say anything. It’ll be six months in Thailand. It’s the third [season], so that’s when they get all the juices going, I guess. I got to read it. I love it. I’m really excited.”
Although, she hasn’t revealed anything about the series, she shared her excitement on working in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
“I loved working on Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Donald and Maya,” Posey ET said. “They’re so beautiful, and talented, and wonderful, and funny.”
Like Posey her co-star in this much HBO series Natasha Rothwell also bound by the muted contract.
As she told Entertainment Tonight in December, “I can’t say anything. I literally can’t. I will say, I’ve read all of the scripts and people are in for a treat. It’s bigger than ever. Buckle up.”
Although we don’t have many details about the show, all we know is that this show will star Patrick Schwarzenegger, Walton Goggins, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola and Aimee Lou Wood. Leslie Bibb, and Tayme Thapthimthong. Also, we will also see Rothwell in her returning role.
Meanwhile, creator Mike White said in a making-of-season 2 video, “The first season we highlighted money and then the second season is sex and I think the third season, it would be maybe a kind of satirical and funny look at death in Eastern religion and spirituality, It feels like it could be a rich tapestry to do another round at White Lotus.”
Talking about the plot White has revealed, “It’s going to be a supersized White Lotus. It’s going to be longer, bigger, crazier. I don’t know what people will think, but I am super excited, so at least for my own barometer, that’s a good thing… I’m super excited about the content of the season.”
For now the White Lotus fans have to wait till 2025 to see it on the big screen.
