Prince Harry is all set to be there for his father King Charles. The Duke of Sussex who is the youngest of the monarch and his late ex-wife Diana, Princess of Wales is reportedly travelling back to the United Kingdom to visit his father. Prince Harry was last seen with the royal family at King Charles’s coronation
The 39-year-old who is currently settled in Southern California with wife Meghan Markle amr their two kids Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2. The Duke was last spotted in the United Kingdom in May during the coronation of his father.
Needless to say, the father-son reunion isn’t happening on a good note. Buckingham Palace shared the news of his cancer diagnosis which was discovered during his ongoing treatment with an enlarged prostate.
“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties,” the Palace added. “Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.”
“The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure,” the statement continued. “He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.”
The place also noted that the 75-year-old “has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation, and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”
Last month the news of the monarch’s treatment with an enlarged prostate came out.
“His Majesty’s condition is benign,” the Jan. 17 statement reads, “and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure.”
Later on in January 29, he was also released from the hospital.
“His Majesty would like to thank the medical team and all those involved in supporting his hospital visit,” the statement noted, “and is grateful for all the kind messages he has received in recent days.”
