Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has wrapped up the filming of the first schedule. Introducing the new pair of Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri, this sequel of the blockbuster franchise has gathered an immense buzz. On March 27 Aaryan and Dimri shared a joint post about the ending of the first schedule’s filming process. Anees Bazmee who is known for comedy films No Entry, Welcome and Ready will serve as the director like the previous franchise. Apart from Tripti and Kartik other popular actors like Sara Ali Khan and Naseeruddin Shah have also joined the cast. Let’s delve into the details of this story.
Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri shared the news of wrapping the first schedule via an Instagram post
On March 27 Aaryan and Dimri shared a joint post which was written, “Ting ting ting tiding ting ting. And we’ve wrapped up the 1st schedule #BhoolBhulaiyaa3. This small break between schedules is gonna make me impatient… Rooh Baba’s Cape has some different magic.@aneesbazmee.”
The film which is all set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Diwali 2024 will also feature Vidya Balan in the lead role. Balan also portrayed the role of Manjulika in the first franchise of the film which stars Akshay Kumar and Shiney Ahuja. While in the second franchise Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani were seen in the leading roles.
The first part was helmed by Priyadarshan where the second part was also directed by Bazmee who took the director’s cap for the second time.
Previously in an interview producer Bhushan Kumar said about extending the franchise, “The Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise holds a special place in our hearts, and I’m very happy to be taking it forward with a creative mind like Anees and an incredible talent like Kartik. Together, we are set to deliver a cinematic experience that will both honor the legacy of the franchise and bring double the laughter and thrill for the audience.”
Apart from this film Kartik has also recently completed the shooting for his upcoming film Chandu Champion helmed by Kabir Khan. The film is based on the real life story of a sportsman and overriding enthusiasm.
As for now, only time will tell if the third installment of Bhool Bhulaiyaa can leave the similar mark as its previous ones.
