Miley Cyrus’ mom Tish Cyrus admitted to having issues in her marriage with husband Dominic Purcell. The couple who got married in August last year with daughter Miley Cyrus serving as the maid of honor opens up about her domestic problem in a March 28 episode of her and daughter Brandi Cyrus’ Sorry We’re Stoned podcast. The 56-year-old said in the podcast about her husband, “I was so scared when I first met Dom, my husband, which was not that long ago, But it is crazy because I am a Taurus and he is an Aquarius, and every single thing I read said, ‘Don’t even do it. It is the absolute worst pairing.’”
Moreover, talking about their differences the music manager said she tends to “take things personally” while her husband has a “very blunt” way of speaking, adding she “could not believe” that they ended up together.
“I was an only child, I was adopted, so I was coddled a lot,” she continued. “I kind of have needed that. But that’s just not who he is. He is not emotional.”
Although their contradictory personalities “could be a problem,” she has learned the way to overcome their communicative challenges.
“Instead—now—of me getting so offended, because I respect and love him, that we have conversations,” Tish shared. “I’ve never been good at that.”
“These are definitely issues,” she added. “But issues also—because I love him—that I’m dealing with.”

Although she revealed how her divorce with Brandi Cyrus affected her mentally on the February 7 episode of Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast. She said,”During that period, I took a really good, hard look at life, my life, and like, ‘What was I gonna do? Because it had not been in a good place for a long time. And I think I did stay so long out of fear of being alone. Like I had met him when I was 23, 24.”
