Amid this hype actor Divyendu Sharma who gained immense recognition and popularity for his role of Munna Bhaiya in this crime-thriller gave devastating news. Let’s check out what he has revealed.
Divyendu Sharma said he is not part of Season 3
In a recent interview the 40-year-old actor addressed the speculations of his return in season 3.
“I am not part of season 3 guys. I know it’s a heartbreak… I love those conspiracy theories, they were legit. I shall declare, I am not a part of Mirzapur Season 3,” he said in the interview.
Moreover, he added,”When I was in character, it was affecting my personality a lot. We shouldn’t over-romanticise going too deep into a character, because it is not easy. At times, it used to get really dark for me. I felt suffocated. It’s so tricky that you don’t even realize that you are in that zone. It’s only when you come out of it do you realise how dark it was.”
Sharma’s interview comes days after the producer, Ritesh Sidhwani, discussed the resurgence of the popular character Munna Tripathi in an interview with Film Companion.
He said in the interview,”But maybe there’s something interesting for which you will have to wait, but there is something where Munna will enter back into audiences’ lives.”
Although Munna would be eliminated with the cast other notable stars will be seen reprising their roles including Pankaj Tripathi reprising will be his role as Akhandanand Tripathi (Kaleen Bhaiya), Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit, Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi, and Shweta Tripathi Sharma as Gajgamini Golu Gupta.
For now, we can’t do anything rather than witnessing the series on screen. However, the release date of this Amazon Prime drama is yet to be announced.
