Ali Fazal has wrapped up shooting for ‘Metro In Dino’!
The talented actor, known for his work in ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Fukrey’ franchise, and ‘Mirzapur’ series November 15, Friday, posted a snap from the much-anticipated movie,’s set with director Anurag Basu and the crew. The movie is the official sequel to Basu’s critically acclaimed 2007 movie ‘Life In A Metro‘. Moreover, Fazal revealed that working on romantic drama has always been an incredibly joyful and emotional experience for him in a heartwarming statement.

Ali Fazal on wrapping up the shooting for ‘Metro In Dino’
The 38-year-old shared in the statement, “Wrapping up ‘Metro In Dino’ has been a journey filled with emotion, joy, and creativity. Working with Anurag sir has been an absolute honour. His vision and storytelling have always inspired me, and I’m thrilled to be part of this incredible team of ‘Metro in Dino’.
He added, “I can’t wait for the world to see what we’ve created together.”
Apart from Fazal, the upcoming film will also feature, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rohan Gurbaxani, Rahul Bose, Shaleen Bhanot, Virendra Saxena, Rohit Roy, Himanshu Jaykar, Ahir Bhaumik, and Kay Kay Menon.
Backed by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd being a sequel of such an evergreen film, fans have huge expectations with it.
For the unknown, Pritam will also compose the music of film who has previously associated with Basu in his blockbuster movies such as ‘Gangster’, ‘Life in a… Metro’, ‘Barfi!’, ‘Jagga Jasoos’, and ‘Ludo’.
As per the reports, the shooting was held around Delhi, followed by some other special scenes shot at Barog railway station, Himachal Pradesh.

The upcoming movie revolves around an anthology of four stories of contemporary couples. Like the previous one, all four stories will connect with each other at some point in the storyline of the film.
Previously it was scheduled for a release in September 2024 which was later postponed to November of the year.
