Amber Heard’s sister Whitney Henriquez bashed MTV Video Music Award for Johnny Depp’s cameo appearance. On Sunday, Depp appeared at the show in the official mascot costume as a moon person. However, he shocked everybody with his surprise appearance. But his appearance at the show seems to outrage his ex-wife’s sister.

Whitney Heard took her Instagram to show her disappointment against MTV’s popular award show and support her sister Amber. In an Instagram story, she shared a graphic image of her Amber Heard and wrote “@MTV you’re disgusting and clearly desperate! I really hope that none of the people that made this call has daughters…”. It follows the hashtags DVMA and I STAND WITH AMBER HEARD.
Whitney also took her sister’s side at the high-profile defamation trial of Johnny Depp against Amber Heard. Though her sister Amber lost the case it seems like she will stay by her side.

Johnny Depp’s surprise appearance at the VMA was less than two months after his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard ended. The award show was held on August 28th. The Pirate of the Caribbean star appears in the award show in the official mascot costume as a moon person. However, the 59-year-old actor’s face was digitally superimposed on the moon man’s helmet. He appeared on the show after Jack Harlow, Fergie, and Lizzo’s performance. He told the audience,” And you know what? I needed the work,”. Furthermore, he said,” Hey VMAs, let’s get back to the f***ing music, shall we?”

Depp was in a lot of limelight after winning the high-profile defamation trial of 50 million USD against ex-wife Amber Heard. The case was due to Head’s newspaper article where she comes out as a victim of domestic violence. Though she didn’t mention anybody’s name here according to Depp it affected them a lot in his career. On June 1, the court and jury shared their verdict which favoured Depp.
