The 20-year-old son of the superstars was immediately taken to hospital following a severe head injury from an electric bike accident in Los Angeles last week. A family friend of the Maleficent star shared the details about the current condition of Pax. According to the report, the injured boy is in constant attendance of his mother. Pax Jolie-Pitt has suffered complex trauma
The family friend of the Jolie-Pitts shared some details on the current condition of Pax.
The unknown person shared with the media, “Pax has been released from the ICU. He suffered complex trauma, and now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy.”
Pax is reportedly getting the constant support of his mother Angelina during his recovery process. However, there aren’t any details on the reaction of his father Brad.
The family friend also added how the mother-son duo is grateful to the local residents for immediately taking action on his health and admitting him to the nearest hospital.
The family friend said, “Pax and Angelina are deeply grateful for the quick and life-saving action of first responders, and the outstanding medical care he received.”
Pax is one of the adoptive children of the former couple including another son Maddox, 22, and daughter Zahara, 19. The former couple also shares three biological children as well, named 18-year-old Shiloh and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
About the accident
The news of the accident first came out on 29th July reported by TMZ.
As per the report of the outlet Pax was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident which led to severe head injury and hip pain. After the accident, he was rushed to a hospital for immediate treatment.
As per the LAPD, paramedics were summoned around 5 p.m. after an e-bike crushed a vehicle that was stopped at a red light.
After the accident, it is reported Pax was “stable” although due to having a severe head injury he was shifted to the ICU.
Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt hasn’t publicly addressed their son’s condition yet.
