The Brangelina drama doesn’t seem to end easily. Angelina Jolie made a shocking new allegation about their ex-husband Brad Pitt. Jolie filed a cross-complaint over Pitt’s winery lawsuit filed in February. The Maleficent actress claimed she feared for the safety of her children. The actresses alleged Pitt had choked and smacked their kids on the family’s plane ride in 2016. Moreover, the incident occurred some days before she filed for divorce from Pitt.
Angelina Jolie claims Pitt choked and smacked their kids
As per the countersuit, the fight started when Pitt accused Jolie of being “too deferential” to their kids. Later on, Pitt allegedly gets physical with one of their kids as the kid defends Jolie. Moreover, he was heavily drunk at the time.
“When one of the children verbally defended Jolie, Pitt lunged at his own child and Jolie grabbed him from behind to stop him. To get Jolie off his back, Pitt threw himself backwards into the airplane’s seats injuring Jolie’s back and elbow. The children rushed in and all bravely tried to protect each other.”Jolie’s countersuit claimed.
The document later on detailed the Bullet Train actor’s aggressiveness towards his former wife and children. It states,” Before it was over, Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face. Some of the children pleaded with Pitt to stop. They were all frightened. Many were crying.” He even pushed his ex-wife again and again.
In 2016, The Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Service ices FBI previously investigated the case. However, the 58-year-old actor denied the allegations of abuse and was found not guilty to the charges and the FBI closed the case.
The former couple shared six children Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox. Jolie has custody of the children. The ‘Mr &Mrs Smith’ duo declared the single by the court in 2019.
