Anya Taylor-Joy shares some interesting facts about her secret wedding with her husband Malcolm McRae. The actress who was previously believed to have tied the knot with McRae revealed it’s certainly not the case. Although the couple didn’t have any lavish celebrations for the wedding, they still tied the knot without the knowledge of the world. As the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary the Emma actress shared some beautiful snaps from the special day along with a beautiful note on her official Instagram. The couple first sparked engagement rumors the following July of 2022 when Anya was spotted wearing a beautiful ring on that finger. Anya Taylor-Joy celebrates her second wedding anniversary
On April 2, the 27-year-old wrote on her Instagram along with some beautiful carousel from her D-Day, “Two years ago, on April Fools, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans. The magic of that day is ingrained in every cell of my being, forever. Happy second ( first ) anniversary my love…you’re the coolest.”
The post featured an image of the actress’ walking down the aisle, in the same Dior gown she wore in October. Moreover, a video of herself showing her veil. As well as she shared a picture of herself, her husband Malcolm, and her friend Cara Delevigne. In another image, there were two small cakes shaped like hearts which is not an animated version.
As the actress explained, “Yes, those are anatomically correct heart cakes. Yes, I am the vampire Lestat.”
As for her beautiful Dior wedding gown, she noted it had been “beautifully embroidered with our love story” by the designer.
Meanwhile, Malcolm also adorably paid tribute to his beautiful wife while sharing a post on Instagram.
The 29-year-old wrote in his post, “I love you now and somehow I always have and somehow it will never end. Happy two-year anniversary (yesterday), beautiful.”
Looking back at their romance timeline, The Queen’s Gambit star and the More musician first made their romance Instagram official in May 2021 when Malcolm shared photos of the pair in a loving position of holding hands, captioning”Supremely happy.” Moreover, earlier that month they were also seen kissing in New York City.
