Shah Rukh Khan who gained immense acclaim for his grey role in the 1993 movie Baazigar making it an overnight cult thriller is reportedly in talks for the movie’s sequel. In a recent interview with ETimes, producer Ratan Jain hinted at the sequel noting Shah Rukh is considering the sequel as well while the discussions are underway.
However, the producer noted that the script of the movie has yet to be finalized. He also confirmed that the project would only kick off if Khan agreed to work on it.

Producer Ratan Jain told the entertainment network that work is in progress. However, he didn’t confirm the possibility of this upcoming project.
He explained, “We keep talking to Shah Rukh about Baazigar 2, but not much has happened, but it will definitely be made.”
Jain also made it clear that without Shah Rukh the making of this sequel is impossible. He said, “There is an exciting idea about the sequel, but we need a compelling script and fresh direction to move forward.”
Moreover, there isn’t any news about the other expected cast or who will direct this iconic movie’s sequel this time.

In short, the revenge drama is based on a cold-blooded killer with a charming nature who traps a businessman’s elder daughter in false love and then kills her in a way that seems like suicide. However, things take drastic turns after the young sister of the deceased tries to unveil the truth only to fall under the trust trap of her sister’s killer.
As the movie progresses it is revealed if the younger can find out the reality of the man she loves, or the killer can finally fulfill his motive.
