‘Euphoria’ famed actress Barbie Ferreira joins the cast of prime video’s new physiological thriller film ‘House of Spoils’. The film also includes Ariana DeBose. After her recent exit from HBO’s famous series Euphoria season,3 this will be a major film role for her. She played the role of Kat in the series. Needless to say, her fans were really excited to see her in the film.
Barbie Ferreira exits from Euphoria
On August 24, via an Instagram story,y Barbie Ferreira announced the news of leaving Euphoria. The actress wrote in her Instagram story;
“after four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character kat, I’m having to say a very teary eyed goodbye.
i hope many of you could see yourself in her like i did and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today. i put all my care and love into her and i hope you guys could feel it. love you katherine Hernandez”.
Story of the film
The story of the film follows an ambitious chef (Ariana DeBose) who opens her restaurant. A farm-to-table joint on a remote escape, she struggles with chaos in the kitchen. A dubious investor and crushing self-doubt. But the estate’s previous owner threatens to sabotage her every move.
Talking about Ferreira’s character she will be playing a sous chef who works for Ariana DeBose’s character. After she departs from Euphoria season,3 It’s her latest film role.
The producers of the film are Jason Blum, Alex Scharfman, Lucas Joaquin and Drew Houpt of Secret Engine, and Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath for Divide/Conquer. And the executive producers include Chris McCumber and Jeremy Gold. However, the release date of the film hasn’t been announced yet. We are certain that the talented actress will impress her fans with her new film.
