HBO’s famous series Euphoria will no longer have the beloved Kat Hernandez as a character. American actress-model Barbie Ferreira plays the character in the series. On August 24, via an Instagram story, the actress announced the news. Needless to say, It’s shocking news for Euphoria fans.

Kat Hernandez is one of the popular characters in this famous series. On August 24, Barbie Ferreira announced the news on her Instagram post. Which is followed by an animated picture of her in the character of Kate.
She wrote :
“after four years of getting to embody the most special and enigmatic character kat, I’m having to say a very teary eyed goodbye. i hope many of you could see yourself in her like i did and that she brought you joy to see her journey into the character she is today.i put all my care and love into her and i hope you guys could feel it. love you katherine Hernandez”.(Instagram)
Why does Ferreira’s exit make sense?
Needless to say, her exit from this series will be really sad for the fans. However, we can expect it from the previous season. As in the previous season of Euphoria Kate’s storyline was less. Many fans believe that the character seems unfit for season 2. As per the fans, they did not find any proper explanation regarding the character. She has only four lines in season 2. That’s why her exit totally makes sense.
The character of Kate Hernandez impressed everyone with her bold and confident nature. It stands out wonderfully among the other characters of the series.
The series has a famous star cast including Sam Levinson, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya. It will be really tough for the fans to watch the series without their beloved Kate.
