The actor who is currently dating singer Sabrina Carpenter gave a sweet reaction to Carpenter’s first Grammy nomination. The Grammy nominations, which were unveiled on November 8, gave a nod to the singer for her new breakthrough album Short & Sweet in six categories including Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best New Artist, Song of the Year, and Record of the year. In fact, the singer got the Song of The Year for “Please Please Please”, the music video of which features Barry.

On the Jess Cagle Show podcast during the nomination day, Keoghan said, “Brilliant, I know, No, I’m really, really happy for her, honestly, and I got to get on the phone soon.”
The 32-year-old went on praising his girlfriend for her dedication in work, adding, “I’m in awe watching her work and how committed and the standards that she sets,” said. “Especially being on that music video. She knows the vision, she knows what she wants.”
Meanwhile, Sabrina, 25 shared her own reaction on Instagram. She exclaimed emotionally at one moment, “I don’t know how that’s possible.”
Carpenter captioned the video, “Us on the tour bus this morning take a shot every time we scream like fr headphone warning this is the first year I’ve watched the live stream where i heard my name! I’d be lying if i said i hadn’t dreamt about this day my whole life so i am filled with gratitude- Thank you @recordingacademy :’)).”
Apart from that, the Expresso singer admits to GRAMMY.com about her album, “In such a weird way, I guess I’ve tried to do my best and be enjoying what I’m doing without being too aware of what’s going on, The love of what I do is in the actual making of things, so I’ve been making so much music and writing so much over the last year. Seeing this cool, organic reaction to it is great. But in the moment, it’s hard to grasp it.”
This year Beyonce got the highest nominations with 11 nods, on the other hand Swift, Carpenter, and Chappell Roan received six nods each. Moreover, singer’s like XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone received seven nominations each, the second highest nominees.
