Bella Thorne recently recalled an audition at the age of 10 years where she had to lose a role for a person’s insensitive behavior. The 25-year alum recalled this distributing past when a casting director allegedly charged her of “flirting with him” and making “him really uncomfortable” at the age of only 10 years.
Bella admits how the incident still drives her “Crazy”
Bella Throne had many early acting gigs but not all of them are rosy. The actor claimed that during her appearance on ‘s High Low podcast, the Disney Channel alum lost her acting job due to a very erroneous reason.
Unnamed The person Bella cited, a casting director accused her of ” flirting” with him at an audition. “The casting director calls my agent and the agent calls my mom, and they’re like, ‘So she’s not moving forward because the director felt like she was flirting with him and it made him really uncomfortable,'” Bella recalled the episode on the Dec. 27 interview with the Hollywood Reporter “What the f–k are you talking about, man?!”
The Shake it up star admitted she “still goes back” to that interchange “every day,” putting in that drives her “crazy.” She said she must thereupon remind herself that, as a child, she was “not the problem” in that situation.
She said, “I’m trying to find almost fault in myself, Like: ‘What did you do, Bella? What did you do that made him feel like this?’ And every time, I’m like, ‘Bella, stop it.’ Even that thought right there is becoming part of the problem.”
The most intriguing part according to Bella was how the director jumped to that nasty conclusion as “in a director’s session, you can’t really say or do anything.”
It’s Not the first time actress had previously shared her past traumatizing experience of mistreatment and sexual abuse in 2017 & 2018.
She had written in a 2018 Insta post, “I was sexually abused and physically growing up from the day I can remember till I was 14…when I finally had the courage to lock my door at night and sit by it, All damn night. Waiting for someone to take advantage of my life again. Over and over I waited for it to stop and finally it did.”
The Disney star also added, “But some of us aren’t as lucky to get out alive. Please today stand up for every soul Mistreated. #timesup.”
