Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have a few ups and downs in their marriage. The couple who tied the knot in 2022 after a decade of history together is facing trouble in their picture-perfect relationship. Amidst the break-up speculations, a source of Entertainment Tonight revealed the couple is actually facing some issues in their one year of marriage. The rumors become more intense since the pair haven’t been publicly seen together since March 30 during an outing in New York. Lopez also raised eyebrows when she liked a March 19 cryptic Instagram post about relationships, which reads, “You can’t build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves.” Let’s check out the complete details of this story.
The source shared things haven’t been as great between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez
The source shared, “They have gone through phases where things haven’t been as great between them due to their different personalities and not getting enough time together. They’re not always on the same page. They both have so much going on between taking care of their families and their work commitments and it can be a lot for them.”
None of the actor’s reps neither confirmed nor denied the news.
The couple’s relationship problems have become the top of the town after the “Let’s Get Loud” artist went solo at the 2024 Met Gala. The songstress has also served as one of the co-chairs for the annual gala. At that time Ben’s team revealed that he was busy filming The Accountant 2 in Los Angeles.
The couple has had a fair share of struggles with their relationship since the initial stage of romance in the early 20s. The couple parted ways in 2003 before reconnecting 20 years later. Despite facing immense backlash Ben said that he had learned to adjust to this new chapter in their love story.
Ben said in Jennifer’s 2024 documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, “Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media. And then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like you’re gonna marry a boat captain and you go, ‘Well, I don’t like the water.’ We’re just two people with kind of different approaches trying to learn to compromise.”
